Who would have thought that the Law situation will be so bad after sixty years in Pakistan that was founded by one of the greatest lawyers in the world Muhammad Ali Jinnah. It was not only this; the idea of Pakistan was also given by another lawyer and very famous poet Muhammad Iqbal (Allama Iqbal). Then where the law got out of hands? See the problems begins since the creation of Pakistan, when the then Government of India didn’t pay Pakistan its full assets hence resulting in poor economy in Pakistan. If only this would be the case things might have turned out just about fine but in Pakistan every person who comes to power wants to stay in power at any cost he wants to be his own Judge, his own Lawyer and doesn’t want anybody to interfere in his decisions.

M. Ali Jinnah once said “We should have a State in which we could live and breathe as free men and which we could develop according to our own lights and culture and where principles of Islamic social justice could find free play.”

“Social justice and free play”. It is interesting to know the power of law when we review the famous case which was brought into action by the president of constituent assembly Maulvi Tamiz ud Din who filed case against the Government in Sindh High Court and even interesting thing is when Sindh Court decided in the favor of Maulvi Tamiz ud Din and Government had to go to Federal Court (now Supreme Court) for revised decision. Government’s officials worked very hard on the case and got the decision in their favor. But bravo to Maulvi Tamiz ud Din who single handedly brought the entire Government of Pakistan into trouble. Same kind of thing happened in 1993 when Gulam Ishaq Khan unconstitutionally over through the Government of Nawaz Sharif and Nawaz had to go to Supreme Court and as a result his Government was restored.

Whenever a man put his hand into some thing that he doesn’t have knowledge about he put himself and others into trouble. See civilians aren’t like the army men and they can not obey every order right or wrong given by their leader, its more of a matter than simple yes sir, no sir and every time when an Army officer had disrupted the law, Pakistan had gone into deep abyss. I talked about the bad economy of Pakistan earlier. In 1960 the value of dollar was just under five rupees. Twenty years later in 1980 value of dollar was under ten rupees. And in 2000 this value was fifty rupees. Now if we are very lucky it won’t go more than hundred rupees in 2020 (which I really doubt).

The current situation is result of all above factors and the fact that President was inquired by Supreme Court on certain doubt full things. For the perfect law and order it is very necessary that every person should do his job which he has knowledge about and is entitled to, otherwise things are in front of us. Also it is very important for us to have Independent judiciary and law so that even Government has fear that someone is above them.
